This is probably my first serious panorama. Faced alot of problems... especially from the lens distortion part. Was using kit lense (18-55mm) so that's pretty wide. With the distortion, it's tough to stitch them up. So... I ended up with a jagged coastline..................... Oh well. Panoramic advice, anyone??
Panaroama's are a pain to stitch unless you have captured a lot more than what you want to be in the final result.

@Shuva: The more the better but the more shots, the longer you're gonna take to stitch it up! :D Owell but it's so much wider than any lense can ever give me.
Really nice panorama. I think you have done a really good job with this one. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your series.

@badala: Was intending to show the original size cos there's alot more details in it.. but Aminus3 resized it. Owell... then again, it'll not be so enjoyable if you all gotta scroll to view the whole thing. The trouble with taking panoramas... haha
I read somewhere that if you're taking panaramics to cut down on barrel distortion you should take the shots in portrait and then stich them together. If you take them as landscape it's quite difficult. However you may know this already because I don't know which technique you used. I don't think there are any problems with this one though. Great work!!!

@Colour blind: Wow I didn't know that... Thanks! :D
The only advise I have for people that do panoramic shots is to shoot in manual mode and don't change the settings from shot to shot. If you're in automatic mode the camera will adjust the exposure from shot to shot and then you can see the changes in exposure where the photograph is stitched together. Then do the appropriate burning and dodging etc.in Photoshop where you have better control. Hope this helps :0)
