After watching a documentary on Discovery, I suddenly have a different opinion of foreign construction workers. Welding, nailing, painting; they all require skills. Skills that I do not possess; Skills that the next president scholar will not have; Skills that thousands of university graduates do not have. When we get to try it out, we will inevitably feel like fools. Their biggest stress probably is the fact that the future of their whole family lies in the little money they emit home every month. It's not easy...
beautiful and moving portrait. with your words and motivation spelt out, it enhances the meaning of this picture...of how every human being have aspirations and wants. no matter where we are in this world, when we all aspire from the mountaintops of our hearts.

great moody shot! well done President Scholar!
glad that you are reflecting about the skills and life of construciton workers...
too bad in Simgapore construciotn work is seen in such a low light... without such skills can we have such great skyscrappers, buldings and HDB flats to live in?
maybe these skilled workers should work in Australia or places where being a carpenter or plumber is well recognised, respected and paid well...
