Each name with a story to tell

This was taken a few days back while visiting the Vietnam Memorial at Washington DC. Our tour guide told us that those with the + sign are the Vietnam War soldiers who went missing. Probably dead, gone from this world, but their bodies were never found, thus they can never be certified dead. Those with a diamond sign (like a shaded and complete + sign) are the soldiers who are certified dead. There are those with a circle around the + sign, meaning these soldiers were found later after the war ended. Unfortunately, only a few names had that sign. The memorial park is also V shaped, not for Vietnam, but for Victory. A victory won at the expense of young, hopeful men, mostly barely 30 years of age.
Anyhow, I've arrived at Canada! Stopped at Niagara Falls, Toronto and now I'm at Montreal. Will tell more soon...
