Nami Island, Korea - Scenic location more commonly known as the filming location for XXXXXX XXXXXX. UGH. First two days of the trip were filled with meaningless visits to all these filming locations. Till this very day, I cease to understand what is so captivating and amazing about being on the same spot where the two leading characters had their first kiss. Or their first date. Or the place where she finally told him that she's down with cancer. Just kidding. But it was not that bad. They were scenic and got the shutterbug in me happy for awhile.
What really got me missing korea is the food, glorious glorious food. And all the weird and kooky things we did.. like
Digging for potatos,
attending a mock traditional korean wedding,
learning calligraphy,
wearing hanbok and acting like we're da chang jings,
learning how to make kimchi,
going to lotte world and managing to complete only a single ride cos the queues were so damn long,
attending a traditional korean musical which was quite an eyeopener...,
and dongdaemun-ing at 1am.
The only regret was not going to Jeju island. Ah heck. Another time maybe. School's starting very soon....... Moving into hostel this friday. Hope all goes well.
